Bourkevale Community Centre provides youth hockey programs through the St. James-Assiniboia Minor Hockey Association under the umbrella of the Winnipeg Minor Hockey Association.
Bourkevale traditionally hosts two to four youth hockey teams per season that play games indoors but practice regularly at the club's outdoor ice rinks. Bourkevale's 9A1 hockey team won the city championship in 2010/11 and their pennant is displayed proudly in the club's skate room.
Hockey registration is now accepted online. Beginning with the 2014-15 season, parents or guardians of registrants are required to take the online Respect in Sport program. Please visit St. James-Assiniboia Minor Hockey Association for all information regarding hockey registration.
